CEBU CITY, Philippines — Nestor Ranido delivered a dominant efficiency to seize the blended senior masters title within the 2nd SUGBU Open Championships on Friday, July 4, on the SM Seaside Bowling and Leisure Middle.
Ranido, representing the host group Sugbuanon Bowlers United (SUGBU), defeated Cebu Tenpin Bowling Affiliation (CETBA) standout Rommel Calipay within the championship match, rolling a 214-pin sport to Calipay’s 199.
A constant weekly event winner and SUGBU mainstay, Ranido secured the highest seed on this Philippine Bowling Federation (PBF)-sanctioned nationwide event after a formidable qualifying spherical.
