What makes an ideal rest room? In my thoughts, it seems to be like this one, within the former LA dwelling of designer Pamela Shamshiri. (The home offered to new house owners a couple of summers in the past.) Spa-like however cozy, easy however refined, it’s anchored by a hinoki soaking tub for lengthy, enjoyable baths.

I’m not alone in admiring this house: It seems in Barbara Sallick’s e book The Good Bathtuband, because it seems, was Pamela’s favourite room of her Rudolph Schindler-designed home. “It’s my sanctuary…It’s not authentic in any approach, however I feel Schindler would approve of the design,” she mentioned in an interview with Rip & Tan. “It’s the place I get well and recharge.”
