WASHINGTON — Sen. Tina Smith, D-Minn., stated Monday that she confronted Republican Sen. Mike Lee of Utah over his social media posts in regards to the suspect in shootings that killed a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband.
Smith stated she confronted Lee after his “merciless” posts Sunday, wherein he included a photograph of the suspect and wrote, “that is what occurs When Marxists don’t get their manner.”
